Serious Sam

Remember DOOM? Where you have a gun and lots of enemies coming your way? That's what this game is about! Lots and lots of enemies. There is a wide variety of weapons you can use against them too. Some include Rocket & grenade launchers, tommy guns, laser guns, shot guns, etc. You can be Serious Sam or a whole slew of other funny looking guys. (No female characters) The whole point of the game is to stay alive and kill lots of bad creatures. From a Christian Standpoint, I find a couple flaws in the game. One of the enemies, a Harpie could use some more clothes, it's pretty much a female with wings wearing a tiny bikini. The only other thing is that this game has an Egyptian setting, so it has a few EgyptianPagan symbols. (Obelisks & Ankhs) The game is easy to install. The graphics are great, it has Open GL and 3DFX support. The music is good. Single and Multiplayer game play is great. I hear the internet multiplayer is slow. This game is Ideal for LAN parties. There are not that many levels but for $20, you can't go wrong. There are lots of MODS/addins in development. I think this game will be around for a while.
