Final Fantasy VII (PS1)

FF7 is what I believe to be the best RPG I have ever played in my existence even better than FFX just because its great.

Graphics

Cut Scenes rule the house in this game, everything there is great. Summons are wonderfully done and perfect. Walking around a town and the world map is where it has a down fall. The people are block characters which actually look pretty good.

Sound

Its wonderful absolutely wonderful. The music rocks is perfect for each scene for each battle and is just well done. However the battle sounds can get annoying if you play for long amounts of time or are in a rush and cant find a save point.

Story

Well you start out as a mercenary for a terrorist group that is destroying reactors owned by Shinra that are sucking the life out of the planet. During this time your character will mention that he was apart of Shinra?s high class elite military called SOILDER. Later you find out that you rival Sepheroth (coolest looking guy Ive ever seen in a game) who nearly killed your girlfriend and nearly killed you is alive. Then you go searching for him, cause he is after a place called the promise land and he is an ancient, and Shinra wants to get there cause there a good possibility that there is loads of energy to build reactors from. Now I've just finished explaining the 1st disk, in the 2nd disk you find out bout your past and that your not really you, and on the 3 (superscript: rd) disk you save the planet from a meteor. Now does it look like I've given the game away?? Nope not at all its far more complicated then what?s above.

Game Play

Way cool, there are TONS of side things you can do, and its not all the same. Sure you run around places and get into battles, but the magic system rocks all final fantasy games out of da water. You get an airship, a submarine, chocobos, yellow through gold (what?s the difference?? Gold can walk on any water and climb mountains).

Appropriateness

Hmm well 2 guys that are in your party say shoot and dangit (in worst possible way) more then once. The story line may be a little suggestive, in the way of promise land, and ancients, and nature freaks in 2 different towns. The towns each have there own weird stuff, nothing witchcraft or anything.
