A solid review, and one that highlights the moral challenges that this game poses. I personally find games like this an excellent opportunity to express Christian values in a gaming environment. Recognizing that the language and the violence may be deal-breakers for many Christians, you are nonetheless presented with a series of deep moral choices. What I found most satisfying...and why this is best played by mature Christians only...is that Fallout 3 is only as morally suspect as you choose to play it. Do you support keeping people as chattel? Do you kill a living being when it begs to be killed? That you can play the game and manifest Christian values to real effect is impressive. Being gracious is an option, and it has a real effect on the virtual communities and the individuals that populate this in-game world.
